Find out moreThe Health and Wellbeing Trust is dedicated to supporting those with limited financial means who wish to receive holistic therapies and integrative medicine consultations to promote their health and wellbeing and those who wish to train in these subjects. Here are some messages from those we have helped to say how important this was to them.
Jo Bridgeman - Sister of patient beneficiary Ali Jennings
"My sister Ali Jennings was given incredible support by HWT and especially through Dr Rosy Daniel’s gentle, insightful knowledge from the start through tests, diagnosis and treatment and thereafter through supportive self-help and spiritual mentorship. The calm, never ending encouragement and endless practical advice enabled us to stay positive in times of despair. This continual feeling of ‘being held’ kept us all strong before Ali’s death and enabled us to face her transition with great stength. This tender loving care inspired her close friends to fund raise for the charity with a sponsored run and we are so proud of them for their wonderful achievement."
Dr Mary Walker - Student Bursary Beneficiary
“The bursary help I received to complete my Postgraduate Study of Integrative Medicine has been life-changing. At a time when I was fully stretched financially with a young family and elderly dependents it made it possible for me to set a new career path and establish a new medical practice offering holistic health services . My studies gave me the confidence to follow my heart and find a way to care for people in a sensitive and caring way with a whole tool box of new complementary and self-help skills to offer. Furthermore, through the health coaching that I received as part of my course I was supported to face myself and begin to fully practice what I preach! It was deeply helpful to meet like-minded colleagues with whom to share and challenge ideas and I know we will be there for each other now in friendship and support long term.” Dr Mary Walker
